About Us

Montessori professional excellence and education awareness

Children learn at their own pace, have different strengths, and interests. Motivation, self-confidence, and a deep sense of purpose rise from an education method that respects these uniqueness of being. This is the essence of Montessori education.

Montessori Florida Coalition was founded in 2014 by a group of Montessorians that share the same vision. We are a not-for-profit organization with the mission of bringing together Montessori educators, administrators, parents, and schools in Florida.

 

We aim to provide professional development and Montessori education awareness through tools and events that will:

  • Guide teachers in becoming Montessori Certified

  • Connect certified teachers with career opportunities

  • Bring the Montessori community in Florida together

 

The Montessori Florida Coalition is located in Miami, Florida and is the proud organizer of the annual Montessori Education Days Conference, hosted at Barry University.
